DIZIN INTERNATIONAL
SKI AREA
The Dizin ski complex is
the first ski and winter sport resort in Iran which has been officially
recognized by International Ski Federation (FIS) for its capability in
administrating official and international competitions. It gained its
official title for specific physical and technical features such as the
course slope, length of the course and the place where the competitions
and races are to be held, as well as other recreational facilities .
Dizin is situated on the
north mountains of Tehran at Gajereh area, where its distance from
Tehran through Chaloos road 120 km, and by Shemshak is 71 km. The
installation date of ski lifts at Dizin backs to 1969 which includes
three telecabins, two ski lifts , seven dish teleskis and one Hammer
teleski. The lowest point of the region is 2,650 m. while its highest
point is 3600 m of the sea level.
