The harsh mistake cost Persia to lose Identity:

In 1935 Reza Shah proposed to call Persia “IRAN” ! This was also defined in 1959 by his Son Mohammad Reza Pahlavi by placing Iran and Persia as two official words for naming the country, basically diminished the strength of the name Persia.

Historically, the world knew the country in connection to the Persian Empire and every one valued and paid special credit to the country.

By changing the name, the country lost its identity & was placed next to the countries such as Iraq and others which were created by the British Empire such as Bahrein …ion , etc etc etc..
